A natural entrepreneur, Lori, who began her career as a working
medical transcriptionist, has grown TRX from a sole proprietorship
into a multi-million dollar national firm in just five years. Now
one of the fastest growing transcription firms in the U.S., TRX is
widely recognized for the quality of service it provides. Under
Lori's leadership, it is known particularly for the strength of
its client relationships, as well as for its commitment to job
creation and economic development. In 2003, TRX was selected as
one of the top 25 women-owned businesses in Oregon by the
Portland Business Journal.
Lori's vision for TRX is nothing less than changing the entire
landscape of the medical transcription and document management
industry. This is being accomplished through the use of cutting
edge, Internet-enabled technology, and helping to create a new
domestic workforce to meet the increasing demand for trained,
professional MTs.
She is a widely published author of articles about the
transcription profession and is regarded as an expert in the field
by both the industry and the news media.
